How do I make my ringtone sound good on my phone?
Q. I use audacity to make my ringtones for my phone and I used to have an LG Chocolate and the songs would sound super clear but now i have an LG 8700 and i sent the same exact ringtone i used on the choc...and when i put it on loud (so i can hear it) it was blasting and sounded horrible...even when i turned it down it was soo loud...then i tried messing with the output volume and that didn't help either!!!...BUT when i put the full song of the ringtone clip i'm trying to make on my phone it sounds perfect!!! ahhh help me! and i dont want another program I just want to know what to change so it sounds clear on my phone! thanks. does anyone else have this phone and problems? I've tried to export it as wav and mp3 but they both sound exactly… [cont.]

A. In the sttings of the MP3, use 128kpbs of quality... (it's CD quality) it creates a bigger file but it's worth it... (I make my ringtones too) 30 seconds = 420Kbs approx.

Q. I have in the past used a ringtone maker on a website that let me upload an MP3, cut the desired section then after a period of time it would let me download the tone for free by using a code and logging on through my phone. I can't for the life of me find this site now! Any ideas?

A. Go into your messages. There should be something that says browser message, or multi media messages. Open it and chose GO TO it then should download the ringtone via your browser. It will give you the option to save it when done and apply as a ringtone. If it does not there is a good chance the browser on your phone is not configured correctly.

A. It sounds as though you have uploaded MP3 files to your phone but you don't see them when trying to assign them to a contact. The process for assigning uploaded ringtones to contacts is pretty much the same as assigning preloaded ringtones to contacts. How do I set a text message ringtone for the Motorola RAZR 2 V9?
Q. So far I've had my RAZR 2 for about 5 days now and I absolutely love it. However, I've been having a problem setting tones and alerts. I want to set one custom tone for text messages, however, because I have a different ringtone for different caller groups, whenever someone texts me, that person's caller group ringtone ends up being their text tone as well. Does anyone know how I can set one text message tone regardless of their ringtone? I hope I didn't confuse anyone. Thanks!
